Sunbeam is on the south shore of St. Croix, on the east side of Great Pond, in estate Mt. Fancy. The Guest Cottage affords true privacy and uninterrupted views of the Caribbean Sea and the protected Great Pond Reef that stretches for miles. The sound of waves breaking on the reef and the cool Caribbean breeze, make the Guest Cottage the perfect retreat.

The Guest Cottage is part Hemingway's writing retreat, part bohemian surf cottage, and part lover's paradise. It  has one bedroom with a queen bed and full bath. A fully-stocked open kitchen, with three seat bar, adjoins a comfortable, breezy great room and dining area. To add to your experience, we've provided you with such things as a great library, DVDs, guitar, telescope, queen air mattress, beach chairs and other beach items, snorkeling and fishing gear, and an unforgettable porch to do nothing on.

About The Guest CottAGE

In St. Croix it is customary to name your home. We chose the name Sunbeam as a nod to our hometown, Frenchtown, NJ (a historic river town originally called Sunbeam), and because the name perfectly captures the spectacular light we experience almost every day in beautiful St. Croix.  Sunbeam is a unique property set high on the cliffs of Mount Fancy with spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea.  

While we are in residence in Sunbeam, we hope you will plan a special getaway to stay in the Guest Cottage. We've designed this website to share information to help you plan a visit.
